3 Days trek Berber villages in Moroccan high atlas mountains

Day 1: Marrakech – Imi Oughlad – Tizi n Tacht (2000m) – Tizi Oussem (1950m)

After breakfast in your accommodation in Marrakech. We will drive 1.5 hours from Marrakech to Imi Oughlad. Where we will meet the team of mules and muleteers then walk from Imi Oughlad, ascending to Tizi n Tacht (2000m) for lunch. Afterwards descend into the Azaden Valley to arrive at Tizi Oussem village where we will spend a night at the guesthouse.

Day 2: Tizi Oussem – Ighouleden Waterfall – Tizi Mzik (2480m) – Aremd (Imlil)

Today we will walk on the north slope of the Toubkal mountains to climb to Tizi Mzik (2480m) for panoramic views of the Imlil Valley. Here there is an optional to visit the Ighouleden Waterfall before reaching Tizi Mzik, after lunch descend to the village of Aremd for overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Aremd – Shrine of Chamharouch – Imlil – Marrakech

Walk for approximately 4 hours to the pilgrimage shrine of Chamharouch. Enjoy views across the High Atlas Mountains then return to Aremd for lunch, then descend to explore a village of Imlil before you meet our driver and return to Marrakech.
