6 Days Trekking Mt Toubkal & Berber Villages

Day 01: Arrival in Marrakech

Marhaban to Marrakech! Our guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation. There will be a welcome meeting at 6 pm. Depending on your arrival time, you might have the opportunity to explore Marrakech before the meeting.

Day 02: Marrakech – Imi Oughlad – Tizi n Tacht (2000m) – Tizi Oussem (1950m)

After breakfast, drive 1.5 hours from Marrakech to Imi Oughlad where you will meet our team of mules and muleteers, then start the trek by climbing to Tizi n Tacht (2000m). Enjoy lunch at the pass. In the afternoon, descend into the Azaden Valley and reach Tizi Oussem, where we will camp on the outskirts of a small Berber village beside the river.

Day 03: Tizi Oussem – Tizi Mzik (2480m) – Aremd (Imlil)

Enjoy walking on the north slope of the Toubkal mountains, climbing to Tizi Mzik (2480m) with panoramic views of the Imlil valley. Optional visit of Ighoulidn waterfall before reaching Tizi Mzik. After lunch, descend to the village of Aremd.

Day 04: Aremd (1900m) – Base Camp Refuge Toubkal (3200m)

After breakfast, continue the trek, enjoying stunning scenery across traditional Berber farming villages. Stop for lunch on the trail, then continue walking until reaching the Refuge at 3200m, where we meet other hikers.

Day 05: Base Camp (3200m) – Toubkal Summit (4167m) – Imlil (1750m) – Marrakech

Wake up early morning, have breakfast, and start the climb to the peak (4167m), the highest in North Africa. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the summit, then descend back to Imlil, and return to Marrakech.

Day 06: Departure

Transfer to the airport on time for your onward flight.
